ACAT 2023 Registration Information

The following personal information will be required when registering:
Title, Name, Email, Gender, Age, Nationality, Country of Residence, Organization/Institution, Job Title/Designation, Phone Number, Sector and Photo ID.
You will be required to confirm your registration at the venue as you pick conference materials i.e., tags, program, etc.

All ACAT 2023 participants are required to register officially online.

All fees are in American dollars (USD).

Full payment of services is requested when registering. No confirmation letter will be sent until ACAT Secretariat has received the payment.

The ACAT 2023 organizers have not engaged any other third-party agency to process payments on its behalf. ACAT 2023 registrations and payments are processed strictly within this official platform and is facilitated by the ACAT 2023 Secretariat.

Request for cancellation must be done in writing by email to ACATCoordinator@aatf-africa.org. After cancellation, 50% of the registration fee will be reimbursed if cancellation is done before 30th September 2023. Cancellations after 30th September 2023 will be forfeited and there will be no reimbursement. All reimbursements will be processed within 10 business days after confirmation from ACAT Organising Committee.

The refund will be returned via the same payment method as the original receipt of funds.

No refund will be made after 30th September 2023. However, an alternative delegate’s name may be provided in writing and the booking and funds will be allocated accordingly.

Please note that no refund or discount will be made if the event within the registration fee is not taken up or is subsequently cancelled.

Registration Fees
Cancellation of a registration must be advised via email to the ACAT Secretariat [ACATCoordinator@aatf-africa.org]. Verbal changes or cancellation cannot be accepted.

Accommodation
For accommodation cancellation policies, please refer to the individual hotel policies noted on their respective websites. Any amendments to original hotel bookings must be forwarded via email to the ACAT Secretariat.

Travelers are required to obtain an electronic visa prior to arrival in Kenya. Visas are no longer issued on arrival in Kenya, nor in Kenyan representations. All nationalities are eligible to apply for visa, apart from for those that have visa exemptions. Visit the E-Visa portal: www.evisa.go.ke for additional information.

Passengers must hold digital proof that they are fully vaccinated against Covid-19. They must hold a QR code in digital or paper format showing they have completed a Travelers Health Surveillance Form online prior to departure. The forms must be filled online via https://ears.health.go.ke/airline_registration. If not vaccinated, passengers must hold digital proof of a Covid-19 certificate showing a negative PCR test result obtained within 72 hours prior to arrival in Kenya. Masks are encouraged in indoor areas.

 

Visitors entering Kenya are required to present their yellow fever vaccination document. Exemptions are made for visitors arriving from non-endemic areas such as Europe, North America, Australia, and New Zealand.

The conference will take place at Safari Park Hotel.

Participants are advised to also purchase travel insurance to mitigate against travel related risks.

 

Conference participants are responsible for purchasing their own tickets.

 

As a registered attendee of the Conference, you agree to grant permission for ACAT Secretariat and AATF to use your likeness in a photograph or video in any of publications and presentations, including website entries, without payment or any other consideration.

Ensuring the privacy of our Users' personal data is of the utmost significance for AATF. The processing of personal data by AATF through the ACAT website (and other online services) is subject to the following terms to which the User agrees by browsing the ACAT website and using its online services:

Categories of personal data processed by AATF
When accessing the ACAT webpage and other online services, AATF may process personal data in the course of the creation of an ACAT Account. The personal data processed may, inter alia, include the User's first and last name, address, phone number and email address.

Purpose of the processing
AATF may contact Users regarding account status, to confirm registration and to advise Users of major changes to the service.

Using the Users' e-mail addresses, AATF may periodically send Users information, survey requests or promotional e-mails about services, events or publications relating to ACAT.

Upon request, Users may "opt out" of further e-mail contact (except for notifications regarding major changes to the service).

Cookies
Cookies are small texts sent from a web server and stored on a User's device, for instance, a computer or mobile phone. The ACAT website and its online services use cookies to offer the User an improved browsing experience, including features such as a single sign-on across different ACAT services, as well as continuous enhancement of the ACAT website and online services based on monitoring their usage and corresponding trends. For the latter purpose, the ACAT website and other online services may also use various web analytics tools to collect, inter alia, the ACAT Account username (for logged-in Users), information on the Internet Protocol address of the Users, the time spent on the ACAT website or online services, which webpages are visited, or the time and date of the visit.

The information collected via cookies and analytical tools is used in aggregated and anonymous manner for statistical purposes, and not to identify individual Users.
